This scarf has a lovely stitch that is a ‘mini’ version of the common block stitch. The stitch has been modified so the gaps between the stitches are smaller and the scarf is warmer. I just love how this stitch came out and I will be making a stitch tutorial and border tutorial for this stitch soon.

- The pattern is written using American crochet terms.
- The turning chain does not count as a stitch.
- The Mini Block Crochet Pocket Scarf pattern is copyrighted by Winding Road Crochet.
- The pattern starts and ends with stitches worked in the back loops only to create a ribbed pocket section. Use a stitch marker to mark the first or last stitch that is worked in the back loop only.
- The pattern includes three sizes. The main difference between the sizes is the starting chain, the number of stitches worked for the pocket section, and the number of repeats for the stitch pattern.
- Sizes will be listed in parenthesis as follows: child size (preteen size, adult size).
- To make the scarf longer, add chains to the starting chain in multiples of 2.
- The stitch count is listed in parenthesis at the end of the row and reads as follows: (Child size, Preteen size, Adult size)
