An Apple Coffee Cup Cozy for their Favorite Teacher

There is no better way to say thank you to your child’s favorite teacher than giving them a handmade gift. I have several teachers in the family and they have told me the handmade gifts are the best.

Coffee Cup Cozy Printable Insert

To make your gift just a little more special, I have designed a coffee cup insert to add to your gift. These inserts are available to all newsletter subscribers.

The insert says “Thank you for being an A+ Teacher” and helps the teacher know exactly what the gift is, in case you are not gifting the crochet cup cozy with a cup. I have also included a basic “Made with Love” version of the Coffee Cup insert for when you are giving cozies as gifts for other occasions.

The Premium Ad-Free PDF Pattern

Below you will find the free pattern with all the instructional photos and videos needed to complete the pattern, but I am also aware that several of us like to crochet on the couch, in the car, or in bed with a printout of the pattern. This is why I also offer a nicely formatted large font PDF version of the pattern that can be purchased on Etsy or Ravelry. You can print the pattern and take it on the go with you or tuck it into your project bag.

Tree Variation

When I was at the store I saw some cute owl buttons and decided to make an owl variation on this crochet cup cozy. To make the owl/tree version, just make your coffee cup cozy base in a medium brown color. Then make 6 or more leaves and sew them randomly onto the cup cozy. Use an owl button to finish off it off.

  1. To make the large size is it CH 40 or CH 50 for the base? I saw it said for row 1 it would be 49sc after you skip the first chain, just wanted to clarify. Thanks for you time & the patterns!
