Continuing the Set with Crochet Wrist Warmers
I started making the fall vibes set with the ear warmers, then was asked to make a matching scarf. So the pattern for the Fall Vibes scarf was born. Then again, I was asked to continue the set with this pattern, the crochet wrist warmers. So here they are.
Sizing Instructions
The size of this pattern consists of two parts. The first is the diameter of the wrist warmer. Make sure to read the notes to learn how to make the diameter larger or smaller.
The second part is the length of the wrist warmer, including the length of the thumb hole. To adjust these lengths, you will just work more or fewer rows. Make sure to read the notes to know what rows to adjust if you want to change the length of the wrist warmer.

Stitches and Abbreviations
CH – Chain
SC – Single Crochet
DC – Double Crochet
BLO – Back Loop Only
YOSL – Yarn Over Slip Stitch
SLST – Slip Stitch
ST(s) – Stitch(es)
Gauge and Size
Gauge: 4 YOSL X 4 Rows = 1 inch
Size: 7.75 inches in circumference and 8 inches long.
Special Stitches
YOSL: Yarn Over Slip Stitch – Yarn over the hook, insert the hook into the next stitch, Yarn Over, and pull the loop through the stitch. (You will have three loops on your hook) Pull the first loop through the second and third loop on the hook. Your stitch is complete.
You will often see the yarn over slip stitch worked in the Back Loop Only so it creates a knit-like rib texture. The yarn over slip stitch can also be called the half double slip stitch.

Crochet Fall Vibes Wrist Warmer
Notes:
-Written in US terms.
– I do not count my CH1, turning chain, as a stitch.
– We do not join our foundation chain with a slip stitch. Instead, we will sew the beginning and the end of the foundation chain together when we weave in our ends.
– To make the wrist warmer circumference smaller, just subtract from the starting chain in groups of 3. To make the wrist warmer circumference larger, just add to the starting chain in groups (or multiples) of 3.
– Notes are provided throughout the pattern to help adjust the length of the wrist warmer.
CH 32
Row 1: YOSL in second CH from the hook, YOSL in each CH across. SLST to first YOSL. (31)
Rows 2-7: CH1, turn, Work a YOSL in the BLO of each ST across, SLST to the first ST.
Row 8: CH1, turn, *Work 1 SC, then 2DC into the BLO of next ST, Skip 2 STs,* repeat from *to* a total of 10 times. SC in last ST. SLST to first ST of row.
Rows 9-13: CH1, turn, *Work 1 SC, then 2DC into the next ST, Skip 2 STs,* repeat from *to* a total of 10 times. SC in last ST. SLST to first ST of row.
Note: To make the wrist warmer shorter or longer, add additional rows of row 13 here to add length or work fewer rows of the stitch pattern row above.
Rows 14-20: (Thumb Opening): CH1, turn, *Work 1 SC, then 2DC into the next ST, Skip 2 STs,* repeat from *to* a total of 10 times. SC in last ST. (Do Not slip stitch at the end of these rows.)
Note: To make the thump opening smaller or larger, add additional rows of row 20 here to make the thumb hole larger or work fewer rows to make the thumb hole smaller.
Rows 21-23: CH1, turn, *Work 1 SC, then 2DC into the next ST, Skip 2 STs,* repeat from *to* a total of 10 times. SC in last ST. SLST to first ST of row.
Rows 24-28: CH1, turn, Work a YOSL in the BLO of each ST across. SLST to the first ST.
Fasten off. Weave in your last yarn end like you normally would. For your beginning yarn end, you will want to use this yarn end to first sew the beginning and end of the foundation chain together, then weave in your yarn end.
Make a second wrist warmer.
