Tunisian Crochet Course – What to Expect
After taking several online courses, I have fallen in love with how they are organized and how well they teach. I have designed this tutorial to be structured like an online course. This means we will have several lessons that are intended to be viewed in order. We will build upon skills that we have learned in previous lessons.
Most lessons will have a written and video portion. You will need to review both to get the most out of the lesson. I will even have some suggested ‘homework’ to get you ready for the next lesson. After all, practice makes perfect.
Below I we will go over what materials and crochet skills you will need to complete this course. We will also talk about the types of Tunisian crochet hooks and see the schedule for the release of new lessons.

Is it really a One Hour Stocking Crochet Pattern?
Yes, at least for me it was and I am not a fast crocheter. I like to crochet a a nice steady pace. I timed myself and I work up about 24 double crochet and minute and based on how many stitches are in this pattern, the match points to the pattern taking 45 minutes for me to complete. I added an extra 15 minutes because we need to take a break every once in a while.
But yes, you should be able to complete this pattern in under an hour if you are focused. Which is incredible because it is a pretty good size Christmas stocking. Work up a 1-hour stocking every night of the week and it will only take a week to make stockings for the whole family. (Unless you have a really large family.)
