The V-stripe Stitch?

This is not an official crochet stitch but a stitch pattern or stitch combination that I stitched together one evening. It creates a slight lace pattern look.

The V-Stripe stitch uses the chain, and double crochet to create this pretty 2-row repeat stitch.

What to use it for?

Projects that would look lovely with this crochet stitch include:

– Market Bags
– Swimming Suit Cover Ups
– Light Scarves
– Shawls
– Light Weight Blankets
