Make a Crochet Hook Pouch Necklace and you will never lose your crochet hook. Between couches eating my hooks and having them get lost in my purse, I was really needing a way to keep my hook safe.
This Crochet Hook Pouch Necklace has a beautiful bohemian touch while being very handy and practical.

I designed my Hook Pouch Necklace to hold one crochet hook and my new favorite Travel Scissors! This scissors fold up and are only the size of a pen.
I am always looking for a pair of scissors when I am crocheting in the car and these Travel Scissors are just perfect to tuck into the Hook Pouch Necklace and have on hand at anytime. They even have a nifty lock to keep the blades closed when not in use.

Hook Pouch Necklace Crochet Pattern
Notes:
- This pattern is worked in the round. You will not join and turn at the end of the row.
- Working in the Back Loops Only gives the pouch the horizontal striped texture, you can choose to not work in the BLO and the pattern will still turn out the same just with out that texture.
- There are two patterns one for a solid color pouch and one for the diamond pouch.
- If you want a thinner pouch for a single hook, Ch6 and work your rounds with 12 Sc each.
Ch8
R1: Sc in the second Ch from the hook, Sc in each Ch across (7 Sc), turn and working down the opposite side of the Ch, work a Sc into each Ch across. (14 Sc around).

R2-17: Working in the round, Work a Sc in the BLO of every stitch of the previous row. (14 Sc)
Note: Before finishing the last row, slip your hooks into the pouch and make sure they fit. Every hook is different and you can add a few chains to the starting chain to make the pouch bigger if necessary.

R18: Working in the round, Work a Sc in the BLO of the first 8 stitches, work a Slst in the next 2 stitches. Fasten off.
Creating a Necklace
Next, cut the cotton cord to be roughly 3 feet. Using your hook weave the cord ends from the back to the front of the pouch about one stitch in from the side. Knot the two ends together.
Your Pouch in done! Feel free to add fringe tassels or embroider on the pouch to add your own style. This would be a perfect place to use the Tassels from my Mini Tassel Tutorial!

Diamond Hook Pouch Necklace
