The Crochet Pineapple Pendant is a great addition to any summer outfit. It can be worn as earrings, on a necklace, on a bracelet or even used as a zipper pull for your favorite pouch. I made mine into earrings and continue to get complimented on them everywhere I go.

Summer is full of lots of fun themed items. You can find an abundance of cactus, flamingo and pineapple decor, apparel and accessories. I love having the chance to make my own accessories. Now you can have a taste of summer dangling from your ears, neck or wrist.
If you make a Crochet Pineapple Pendant of your own, I would love to see it. Tag me on Instagram @windingroadcrochet or #windingroadcrochet. I share my communities creations on my stories on Saturdays. Love this? Here are some other free patterns I think you will love!

I will confess I do not often work with crochet thread, but it is by far the best choice for this project. Plus, if you don’t try anything new you won’t know every know if you like it. This is a good first project for using crochet thread because it is quick and easy.

Before assembling your pendant, I would recommend you block all your pieces by wetting them with water and laying them flat. I would pin the three points of your leaf rings to help them maintain a nice shape.

To assemble your Crochet Pineapple Pendant, start by placing a seed bead on a 2 inch headpin. On top of the bead place a small ring, 5 large rings, a small ring and then your three leaf rings. Place an oval wooden bead or stack 3-4 seed beads on top of the last leaf ring. Using your pliers wrap the rest of the head pin around the pliers until it forms a ring. The picture below shows that I wrapped my wire around until is reached the top of the bead. I then wet the green leaf section again and pull the leaves up into their final position. I hung my set upside down to dry but you can also lay it on its side to dry. Now your pendant is complete and your can attach it to any piece of jewelry you like using a jump ring. I skipped the jump ring and used the pliers to open the ring on a hook earring or threaded the necklace through the ring on my pendant.
